Magic of Lapland offers Lapland at Christmas programme departing to Lapland on the Christmas Eve. In three nights of your Christmas break in Lapland you will have the opportunity to experience the best of Lapland and local traditions.

Christmas is a special time of the year. After a year of long and careful preparations Santa’s sleigh is full of presents for all the children around the world. Father Christmas agreed to see us just before his big world tour. We learned that he will be in his cabin in the afternoon of Christmas Eve and is waiting to see us!

Magic of Lapland Christmas itineraries vary slightly from accommodation to accommodation, however we kept the authenticity and the Lappish traditions in all of our programmes that start with your arrival to Lapland on Christmas Eve.

In Yllas luxury cabins a decorated Christmas tree waits for you ready on your arrival and Santa’s visit. You can place your own presents under the tree to wait for children in the morning. Champagne breakfast, traditional Finnish Christmas eve dinner, sumptuous Christmas lunch, reindeer safari, husky and snowmobile safari or just sit and relax in your cabin with the family around the fire, take a Christmas morning walk through the forest, join in snow fun activities, lighting of the candles in the village and much more. This is just a small selection from our Christmas programme we arranged for you in white snowy wilderness of Lapland.

Letters to Santa: These should be sent to us by the 1st November. In return we will arrange that Santa send a letter to each child inviting them to come to Lapland and meet him. Letters are with distinctive Santa decorations. If the trip is a surprise for your child please let us know at the time of booking in order that we arrange that letters are sent in plain envelopes.

Christmas presents: Santa will have a small soft toy as a present for each child. We can arrange that your own gift is with Santa on Christmas Eve and passed to child with the special message. For clients staying in Yllas luxury cabins we decorate Christmas tree and the presents can be place under the tree ready for your loved ones in the morning. For the guest staying in Yllashumina and Yllasrinne we can make special arrangements. Please call us to discuss.
