Magic
of Lapland - Lapland Day Trips
Magic
of Lapland day trips to Lapland are based in wildreness location in Lapland.
Lapland day trips are popular way of visiting Lapland and Father Christmas.
It is an early start and late finish of a busy day that enables you to
sample Lappish traditions, experience Lapland, snow and visit Father Christmas
in his secret hideaway.
You fly out to Lapland where Magic of Lapland representatives and Lappish
hosts will greet you. After changing into thermal clothing we take you
to the wilderness location where you spend the day at leisure and take
activities in your own time. We arrange for snowmobile rides (children
too!), tobogganing, snow shoe walking, tandem skiing, reindeer ride to
visit Santa, bake gingerbread cookies and have Lappish hosts show you
how to make traditional Lappish Christmas decorations. Simple lunch, hot
drinks and coffee are served throughout the day. Small selection of traditional
Lappish souvenirs is available to buy at the log cabin shop next to the
restaurant.
Magic of Lapland day trips to Lapland operate in small groups and in un-commercialised
areas, some without electricity and the only lighting being candles and
log fires. On our venues we aim to create an authentic atmosphere and
experience of Lapland at its best.

“…
My daughter thought Santa was enchanting and I have never seen her
spellbound. He and his helpers were absolutely magical and it has made
Christmas come early to our hearts and our homes. The 'Magic of Lapland
' reps were extremely nice and helpful as well as the people on
the farm we were taken to …”
”… Just to say a big thank you - we had a wonderful time on Saturday -
the kids
thought it was all so awesome, and hearing my 8 year old daughter turn
to
her 5 year old brother on coming out of Santa's hut and saying "That
was the
REAL Father Christmas you know" to which he very softly replied "I
know" -
priceless!...”
