Lapland Short Breaks 2012

Magic of Lapland Festive Short Breaks to Finnish Lapland
We operate our programmes to Yllas, a small region in Finnish Lapland approximately 150km north of the Arctic Circle. Within this region the cabins and hotels that we use are situated in and around the villages of Akaslompolo, Lapland (approximate population of 400 people), Yllasjarvi, Lapland (approximate population of 200 people) and on the outskirts of the ski town of Levi, Lapland. These locations allow the accommodations we have selected to cater to specific needs whether for those who wish to be more secluded in luxury log wood cabins to those who prefer to be close to the ski slopes as well as those in between.

Magic of Lapland has hand-picked the locations to which it takes its clients to ensure that our Lapland Short Breaks are authentic, uncommercialised and true to Lapland's more remote Arctic regions. All venues that we use are for the exclusive use of Magic of Lapland clients and we go to great lengths to ensure that the client does not feel as though they are on a package holiday. Although all our breaks are escorted by Magic of Lapland representatives, they are there to ensure that the break runs smoothly and to be of assistance if needed, otherwise their presence is subtle and unobtrusive to the Lapland Short Break guests.

Activities on Magic of Lapland Festive Short Breaks
All activity areas are for the private use of Magic of Lapland clients. Magic of Lapland designs programmes that are based on small groups and personal service and although we already limit our short breaks to a maximum of only 50 persons we break the group down further so clients are never with more than 5 other families creating an intimate and authentic atmosphere. For more information on the activities in Lapland please see Lapland Important Information.

As well as our pre-Christmas holiday programmes, Magic of Lapland offers breaks over Christmas itself departing 23 December 2012 and returning 26 December 2012 for 3 nights and 4 days.
