Yllas Luxury Cabins Itinerary

Day 1
0800-1400 (2 hours time difference) you fly out to Kittila accompanied with our representative. Private transfer to your choice of cabin in Yllasjarvi (approximately 50 mins). Check-in. Collection of thermal clothing in the cabin (clothing and boots sizes to be advised at least 2 weeks prior to departure). Light lunch is served in the cabin before you take part in the husky dog safari.
1730 - Depart for a husky dog farm where you will learn about the lives of the huskies and drive your own team of huskies through the wintry Lappish countryside (3km)
2000 - 2030 – Dinner served in the cabin

Day 2
0800 - 1000 Breakfast in the cabin
1000 - Depart for a day full of snow fun activities. Exciting reindeer ride (40 min to 1 hour) through the snowy forest takes you the reindeer herders' cabin. Join in tandem skiing, snow shoe walking and tobogganing. Children make Christmas decorations with the elves. Meet Santa on an individual family basis in his cabin in the forest where he has stopped for a rest. Santa reads children's letters and gives them each a small soft toy gift. A simple Lappish lunch (vegetable soup, bread and butter) is served on the farm.
Arrive to cabin at approximately 16.00
1900 - Dinner served in the cabin

Day 3
0800 - 1000 Breakfast
Morning free
1200 – 1300 Lunch and Check-out
1400 Depart for a 3 hour winter wonderland snowmobile safari with a stop for warm juice, coffee and ginger bread cookies. Adults can drive their own snowmobiles through the Lappish countryside and forests, whilst children and those who do not wish to drive are pulled behind in sleighs.
1900 Festive dinner

Day 4
0800-1000 Breakfast and Checkout, return of thermal overalls
1130 Depart for airport
1400 Return flight to UK
1530 Arrive UK

1) Please note that itinerary and times may vary to fit local conditions.
2) 3 day short break departing on the 5th and 19th Dec is same as above with the exception being that check-out is on day 3 at 1300 and flight back to UK at 2000.
