Whether your view is across the forest, fell, lake or open ranchland, each villa offers privacy, space and a close connection to the landscape. Just a short walk away, the restaurant provides a warm and welcoming contrast, with seasonal menus inspired by the flavours of Lapland and thoughtfully prepared options for younger guests. Together, the ranch and restaurant have a warm, lively atmosphere, with small-group activities for just 10 to 12 guests beginning right from the doorstep.

Combining contemporary luxury with thoughtful craftsmanship, the Jänkä Villas offer quality, sustainability and comfort. Built in Finland using custom log frames and heated with eco-friendly geothermal energy, each villa features a fireplace, private sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, as well as a lofted bedroom with a four-metre skylight for watching the northern lights. A spacious sofa bed can comfortably sleep two adults, while the fan-shaped layout gives each villa a peaceful and private setting.
Arctic Experiences on Your Doorstep
The ranch is home throughout the year to huskies, reindeer and horses, all just a short walk from the villas. A wide range of summer and winter activities can be arranged, making it easy to experience Lapland’s wilderness in every season. Set on the outskirts of Äkäslompolo, the ranch also offers convenient access to the village’s shops and restaurants, as well as nearby downhill skiing.

Discover Jänkä Ranch from January to April, with breaks available for both adults and families. From February onwards, the days grow longer, bringing increased sunlight, sparkling snow and beautiful opportunities to enjoy Lapland beneath clear blue skies. Husky and reindeer safaris, snowmobile adventures and horse-drawn sleigh rides can be combined with excellent downhill and cross-country skiing for an active winter escape.
