New Year’s Break

Celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime New Year with our Arctic Breaks. Experience the magic of Lapland with exhilarating husky, reindeer, and snowmobile safaris, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Arctic winter. Our carefully curated breaks offer a range of accommodations and itineraries to suit every traveller, ensuring an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Lapland.

Late December and January are the coldest months in Lapland, with temperatures often ranging between -20°C and -40°C. For this reason, we recommend this break for children aged 6 and over, as the conditions can be extremely cold.

This time of year also marks the end of Kaamos, or Polar Night, when the sun is only just beginning to return. Daylight is limited to around three magical hours around midday, creating soft pastel skies and long Arctic twilights. Please note that activities may take place in the late afternoon as well as in the morning or early afternoon, allowing you to experience the full beauty of Lapland’s winter light — and darkness — including excellent opportunities to witness the Northern Lights.
