Entry to Finland

From visitfinland.com:

From 26 July 2021:
Finland welcomes all fully vaccinated travellers without the need for testing or quarantine.

The Finnish Government has made amendments to the entry requirements to Finland starting 26 July 2021.

As of 26 July 2021, travel to Finland is possible for all travellers who meet the following health requirements:

  • Persons from all countries may enter Finland, provided they carry a certificate of having received a complete vaccination series of an approved covid-19 vaccine before arrival in the country, with the last dose having been administered at least 14 days prior to arrival. A list of vaccines accepted in Finland is provided by the Finnish institute for health and welfare here: Which vaccines are accepted at the points of entry into the country? – Infectious diseases and vaccinations – THL
  • Children born in 2005 or thereafter are not required to take part in a health examination or a COVID-19 test.

COVID-19 Safety Plan

At present we are working diligently on our COVID-19 Safety Plan to ensure that our clients, colleagues and those around us remain as safe as possible during your short break.

All booked clients will receive comprehensive COVID-19 information in the weeks before they travel which will include information on safety measures, precautions, current restrictions in Finland and assistance that will be available.

Travel Insurance

Now, more than ever, it is crucial to have comprehensive travel insurance in place. According to Which? fewer than 1% of insurance companies offer complete COVID-19 cover so it is important to research policies carefully.

A 15 June 2021 news article summarising the Which? report can be found here. Please note we are not endorsing any of the insurers mentioned and you should always research what is included in the policy you are considering purchasing.
