Festive Break

Almost completely remote, the Torassieppi Reindeer Farm has been a working, family run farm since the 1800’s and welcoming visitors for over 100 years. The cabins and restaurant are all in traditional Lappish style and their secluded location on the edge of a lake with forest to the east give this accommodation breathtaking views. All activities at the reindeer farm start only a few hundred metres from the cabins and are all within walking distance making this itinerary truly feel like an Arctic adventure. The reindeer farm also features the Winter Village, a small ice hotel with rooms and a bar as well as Aurora Domes perched on the edge of the lake – perfect for sleeping under stars and staying warm.

Winner of 2015 Nordic Travel Awards in the destination category.

Listed by National Geographic Travel as one of the places to visit in 2017.
